The distance of the Jharkahli from Calcutta Science city is approximately 114 kilometers. The distance of Basanti from canning is twenty kilometers and the distance of Jharkhali from Basanti is 20 kilometers more. In this 40 kilometers, there are Basanti block hospital and caning hospital but there is no such arrangement for serious heart attack or brain stroke. In this situation, the purpose of our health project is to first provide an ambulance with a saline and oxygen facility. So that In case of any such heart attack or brain stroke, admission can be arranged to any hospital in Kolkata as soon as possible. Apart from this, we are also planning for a free medical camp once a week, mobile dispensary in remote villages and the islands, primarily first aid, oxygen cylinder, saline, and trained nurses to take care of the patients at the initial stage. We also arrange for a medical room where the life-saving drugs can be refrigerated.
