ATMAPRAKASH (Education & Employment)

We started our education and employment project in 2004. Our secretary Mr. Bishnupada dey first realized that only academic qualification is not sufficient, technical knowledge is also very much important to be stable in life. So he started working with computer education in 2004 and gave computer training to 10 thousand students. Also, in exchange for yearly 100 rupees, he gave training in the Govt. schools of remote villages and showed the way for students to earn their livelihood. Initially, our NGO name was Mother computer center, and later we have to form a new NGO named Baguiati Human Angel Society in the year 2013. We have been doing this till 2018. Then the villagers of Jharkhali donated us 9.5 bigha land as a donation. From then we realized that there are other basic needs like food, shelter, health, etc. Although education was our primary focus, still after visiting this remote village like Jharkhali we realized that we can’t expect someone to be educated on an empty stomach. Then we installed a shallow to irrigate 100 bighas of land and thus make it 2 crops. 

Now we are planning to make 3 crops in a year to make the farmers really happy. We have already mentioned our future planning regarding education in the prospectus. In the past years of 2004- 2015, we have worked hard for education and skill development programs simultaneously in 5 Govt. School in Sandeshkhali area. We felt so proud of ourselves by providing them computer education, free coaching class and along with those Tally, hardware training and D.T. P. Also and thus making those students self-independent and earn their livelihood. Seeing this effort the headmasters of other schools of remote villages also requested us to start these projects in their schools. At that time, we used to run our NGO by the time and money contribution of the members. Our secretary Mr. Bishnupada dey used to do very hard work as he was a private tutor and he had to maintain both his tuition as well as the immense pressure of the NGO. Suddenly on 8th August 2015, he suffered a severe heart attack and need to be admitted to the hospital. A huge amount was spent at that time. Then it was a very tough time for us and it was next to impossible for us to continue with these projects. We applied to the M.P. and MLA for help but got no help from them. Still, we never look back and started the initiative for different projects of food, shelter, health, education, and especially the Debdoot project for the helpless aged peoples.

Our 2nd project PRAKASH(Shelter) and 3RD project ATMAPRAKASH(Education & Employment) is correlated with our 1st project ANNAPURNA(Food)

In our 1st project, we can take help from W.B. Govt. and Central Govt. and contribute to the villagers of the remote villages. 2nd and 3rd projects are correlated. For this PRAKASH and ATMAPRAKASH, we have to seek help from CSR fund, FCRA fund, and from all our donors, subscriber, and specially INNER WHEEL DISTRICT 329, JADAVPUR ROTARACT. We really expect their support in our effort to make the needy people of Sunderban happy.

Our secretary has planned to make this Atmaprakash project happen. As the potter makes a beautiful idol from clay, that he also wants to make the students self-independent from their nursery stage. To complete this project we need help from 1. BARANAGAR RAMKRISHNA MISSION, 2. KAMARPUKUR RAMKRISHNA MISSION, 3. NARENDRAPUR RAMKRISHNA MISSION. 4. MURSHIDABAD SARGACHI RAMKRISHNA MISSION. 5. NIMPITH RAMKRISHNA MISSION. 6. SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF W.B. GOVT. and CENTRAL GOVT. By this process, the first-generation learner will be self-independent by earning their livelihood.

Hence our earnest request to the company to help us with the CSR funds, so that we can run our projects. We are also requesting our donors and subscribers to be with us to complete these projects. Our subscribers are aware that we also try to help them in kind whenever and wherever possible. We can also ensure that if any company is donating to us, we can make a tailor-made training program for the organization so that we can provide them with trained manpower, particularly for their company. By this process, it can be a 2way benefit. Firstly the village youth will start earning and secondly the companies will start getting productivity from the first day. We request to the companies that instead of spending huge amount on recruitment they can spend partially in our NGO to get a better result.
